Shepherd’s Gate is a 501(c)(3) public charity, and as a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability, donors can be assured that we adhere to the highest standards of stewardship and ethical financial practices.
Shepherd’s Gate is supported entirely by private donations from individuals, corporations, foundations, churches, and civic organizations. We receive no government or state funding. All charitable donations to Shepherd’s Gate are tax-deductible within the United States. We are audited by an independent accounting firm each year and governed by a Board of Directors.
The FY-2011/12 audit shows that only 16% of total revenue went towards administrative and fundraising expenses.
